In Dutch three constructions are available to render the possessive relation. One can use the sigmatic genitive after proper nouns and (namelike) NPs denoting close relatives (la, b), the preposition van (Ic), or a weakened form of the possessive pronoun, which varies according to the gender and number of the possesser (ld-t):Downloads
